TN govt to give women employees 365 days maternity leave for 3rd child

The Tamil Nadu government announced that women employees working in the state government will receive 365 days of maternity leave for their third childbirth, the same entitlement available for the first two children. Currently, women with two or more children are eligible for up to 12 weeks of maternity leave. An official said a government order will soon be issued.
