TN govt withdraws over 5,000 cases against CAA, farm laws protesters

Tamil Nadu government has withdrawn over 5,000 cases registered against those who protested against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and the farm laws, Chief Minister MK Stalin announced. Among the cases withdrawn, 2,831 cases were registered for protesting against the farm laws and 2,282 cases were over protests against CAA. The cases include those in which the investigation is still pending.
