TN records biggest daily jump in COVID-19 cases, total tally crosses 28,000

Tamil Nadu has recorded 1,438 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases there to 28,694, said the state's Health Minister Dr C Vijayabaskar on Friday. Tamil Nadu's COVID-19 death toll climbed to 232 with 12 more dying of the virus in last 24 hours. Total 15,762 patients have been discharged in Tamil Nadu.
