A schoolboy in Madurai, Tamil Nadu had a close brush with death while hanging onto the footboard of a jam-packed government bus near Theppakullam earlier this week. The chilling scene, captured on video and now widely shared online, shows several uniformed students dangerously leaning out of the overcrowded bus.
