The Tamil Nadu government on Monday said that a part of the 43 km-long Chennai monorail project will be developed under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. The concerned section of the project will be developed on a "Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer basis" with an estimated project cost of ₹3,267 crore, Transport Minister MR Vijayabhaskar informed.
