TN universities in financial crisis, autonomy eroded: Guv Ravi

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi on Saturday said the universities in the state are in "dire financial crisis" and don't have money to pay salaries of the teachers. He stated the autonomy of universities has been "severely eroded to such an extent that it was not the university syndicates but the state Secretariat that runs the universities".
