TNCC attacks Karnataka govt, vows to oppose Mekedatu project

TNCC adopted a resolution opposing the proposed Mekedatu dam, accusing Congress govt in Karnataka of violating Cauvery Tribunal award and Supreme Court’s 2018 judgment. The resolution, passed at a meeting of District Congress Committee presidents in Chennai, endorsed TNCC President P Manickam Tagore’s recent statement that not “even a single brick” would be allowed to be laid for the project.
