To collect ₹15 cr in 2000 wasn't a joke: 'Mela' maker on flop tag

Director Dharmesh Darshan opened up about the 'flop' tag given to his 2000 film 'Mela'. "To collect ₹15 crore back in the year 2000 wasn't a joke...It's not like 'Singham Again' with five heroes. It just had one star...Aamir Khan," he said. Asked about the film's budget, Darshan stated, "It must be ₹3 crores or at the max ₹5 crores."
