Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali described directing a raw moment in Rockstar by telling Ranbir Kapoor to 'fly out of the music' mid-take and simply start screaming. On the podcast, he said no one knew it was coming, so the whole unit captured something real. When it ended, he recalled, Ranbir looked up dazed, as if asking, 'Where am I?'.
