Tom Cruise receives US Navy's highest civilian honour

Hollywood actor Tom Cruise received the Department of the Navy Distinguished Public Service (DPS) Award, which is the US Navy's highest civilian honour. Cruise was given the award for his "outstanding contributions to the Navy and the Marine Corps" through his work in 'Top Gun', 'Born on the Fourth of July', 'A Few Good Men', and the 'Mission: Impossible' franchise.
