Tomato prices fall to ₹80-120/kg in Mumbai as supply increases

The retail prices of tomatoes in Mumbai witnessed a decline to the range of ₹80-120/kg amid an increase in supply. The arrival of the new crop from southern India and various parts of Maharashtra contributed to this reduction. Wholesale tomato prices at Vashi market were recorded at ₹50-60/kg. Meanwhile, the cost of tomatoes ranged from ₹80-140/kg in Andheri and Bandra.
