Top Hyderabad cop goes undercover, faces harassment

Hyderabad Police Commissioner V Sumathi IPS went undercover at the Dilsukhnagar bus stand late at night to assess women's safety in the city. During the three-hour operation, nearly 40 men allegedly attempted to harass her. The incident exposed serious concerns about women's safety in public spaces and prompted police to strengthen night patrolling and CCTV surveillance across Hyderabad.
