Top Meta executive apologises for restricting PM Modi's selfie video

A senior global executive at Meta met Indian officials on Wednesday and apologised for briefly removing a video message by PM Narendra Modi on Facebook. "I apologised to...[IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw]...on behalf of Meta for the error restricting PM Modi's post," Joel Kaplan, chief global affairs officer at Meta, said. PM Modi had posted the video amid the GenZ protests.
