Top North Korean colonel executed by firing squad for stealing grain

A top North Korean colonel was executed by firing squad in front of his officials for stealing the military's reserve grain, reported Wion. The men who witnessed the shooting reportedly "left deeply shaken and left without making eye contact with each other". After the execution, the military’s General Political Bureau issued a stark warning against corruption in the armed forces.
