Top seed Sindhu enters Syed Modi India International 2022 semis

Top seed PV Sindhu entered women's singles semi-finals at Syed Modi India International 2022 after defeating sixth seed Supanida Katethong 11-21, 21-12, 21-17 on Friday. Sindhu won the quarter-finals match in 65 minutes. Notably, Sindhu had lost to Katethong in India Open semi-finals last week. Earlier in men's singles, fifth seeded HS Prannoy lost to unseeded Arnaud Merkle 19-21, 16-21.
