Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali recalled an arrogant teenage stunt. At a school assembly, he collected his certificates on the stage, then tore each into tiny pieces and handed them to classmates. On the podcast, he said it was his way of acting 'too sexy for this', an arrogance masking the insecurity he carried as a once-failing student.
