Torrent Group's Mehta family to donate ₹5,000 crore over 5 years

Torrent Group's Mehta family announced it will donate ₹5,000 crore over next five years. It will be donated to the philanthropic foundation set up in name of the group's late founder Uttambhai Nathalal Mehta as part of his birth centenary celebrations. This amount will be over and above the statutory CSR contributions of the Torrent Group companies, the group said.
