Total ban on usage of phones by school students undesirable: HC

The Delhi High Court observed that a "complete ban" on school students' usage of smartphones is "undesirable" and "unworkable". The court said students should not be barred from carrying phones to school and issued guidelines for regulating their usage. "HC highlighted that mobile phones can't be banned at this age of technology...they're used in educational purposes," a lawyer said.
