Total solar eclipse to be seen across Asia, Europe in August

A total solar eclipse, said to be one of the longest and most accessible, will be seen across Iceland, Spain, Russia, and portions of Central Asia on August 12. The eclipse will not be visible in India, according to the Positional Astronomy Centre, Kolkata. Meanwhile, Spain will witness the entire eclipse as it's positioned directly under the 'path of totality'.
