Tourism suffered loss of around ₹25K crore amid COVID-19: Kerala CM

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has said the state's tourism sector suffered an estimated loss of nearly ₹25,000 crore owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. "[This] also resulted in huge job losses," he added. Furthermore, he launched 26 new projects to boost the tourism sector in Kerala. These are spread from Thiruvananthapuram's hilltop tourist centre Ponmudi to northernmost district Kasaragod.
