Toxic foam found floating on Yamuna river at Delhi's Okhla barrage

As central and Delhi governments announced relaxation in coronavirus curbs, toxic foam was spotted on Yamuna river's water at Okhla barrage. The river had reportedly cleaned itself as industrial and commercial activities were halted during lockdown. A finding by the Delhi Pollution Control Committee revealed that Yamuna was cleaner by 33% during lockdown as compared to pre-lockdown days.
