Toxic hooch sold for ₹50–₹70 made with methanol and frogs

The illegally prepared hooch, with no check on ingredients, can be available for as low as ₹50 to ₹70. As per a former liquor smuggler, typically, ingredients that go into making hooch include lahan, fruits, coarse jaggery, yeast extracted from local plants, wild berries, pears, apricot and peaches; unfiltered river/pond water, methanol, and even lizards, frogs for extra kick.
