Toyota to make EV parts in India for domestic, export markets

Toyota Kirloskar Motor's Senior VP Vikram Gulati said the firm plans to make EV parts in India to meet domestic demand as well as for export to Japan and some ASEAN countries. It plans to start with making e-drives or electric powertrain parts used by different EV types. Gulati added Toyota aspires to make India manufacturing hub for cleaner technologies.
