Toyota unveils its first BEV with 500 km range, solar roof option

Toyota unveiled its first battery electric vehicle (BEV) which will be offered in front-wheel and four-wheel drive versions. The front-wheel drive version of "bZ4X" will have a driving range of about 500 km and will be able to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 8.4 seconds. It also includes an optional solar roof that can be used to charge in emergencies.
