Trading for kids? How to open trading account online for minors

SEBI allows the opening of Demat/Trading accounts for minors. The regulator states that the account will be operated by a guardian till the minor becomes major. The guardian has to be the father or the mother. Stockbroking apps like Zerodha have introduced this feature to give parents/guardians the option of opening a trading account for their children who are minors.
