Traffic policemen extort ₹60,000 from couple returning from Thailand, harass woman in Guj

The Gujarat High Court sought an action-taken report from Ahmedabad Police Commissioner over a newspaper report, claiming a couple returning from Thailand after vacation was extorted of ₹60,000 by two traffic policemen and traffic brigade jawan late at night. The woman was allegedly harassed. The couple was forced to withdraw money from an ATM and give it to the accused.
