TRAI seeks public comments on rules allowing cars to talk to each other

TRAI has released a consultation paper seeking stakeholder opinion on its proposed regulatory framework for vehicle-to-everything communication (V2X). The technology enables real-time communication between vehicles, infrastructure, pedestrians and networks. TRAI is proposing the adoption of cellular V2X over the older short-range communication due to its scalability and 5G integration.
