TRAI to examine complaints over Vodafone Idea's porting offers

TRAI will examine complaints from Airtel and Jio alleging that Vodafone Idea used porting-linked tariff benefits and other practices to attract customers from rival networks. Vodafone Idea has denied violating regulations. TRAI has not said whether it will launch a formal probe. Under its rules, operators offering special plans or services to customers porting to their network can face penalties.
