TRAI writes to ministries, associations on new bulk SMS norms

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has written to ministries, associations and nodal agencies to ensure proper implementation of its new regulations on bulk messages after March 31. The new regulation for commercial messages aims to curb fraudulent messages. Last week, TRAI had released a list of 40 defaulting principal entities that failed to comply with the new norms.
