Trained dogs and AI show promise for early cancer screening

Bengaluru-based startup Dognosis Biosciences has developed a cancer screening system using trained dogs and AI to analyze breath samples. A study of 3,275 participants showed over 90% accuracy in detecting early-stage cancers. This non-invasive, low-cost method aims to complement existing diagnostics, offering a vital, accessible risk-stratification tool for underserved regions in India.
