Trainee IPS officer Rahul Bansal accused in ₹1 cr bribery scandal in his 1st field posting

A 2022-batch Chhattisgarh cadre trainee IPS officer, Rahul Bansal, was named in an alleged ₹1 crore bribery scandal. During his first field posting in Chhattisgarh's Surguja district, he, along with two other police personnel, allegedly accepted a ₹1 crore bribe to cover up a cyber fraud case. The money was allegedly transferred in instalments, the complainant alleged.
