Travel plans have been ruined for lakhs of people as IndiGo continued cancelling flights on Sunday. Since December 2, it has cancelled more than 5,000 flights, impacting over 7.75 lakh passengers across the country. Pilot unions have said that the crisis was avoidable as new norms were introduced in January 2024, giving airlines almost two years to prepare.
