Travel portal ixigo has acquired Bengaluru-based online train discovery and booking platform Confirmtkt, an IRCTC partner, for an undisclosed amount in a cash and stock deal. As part of the deal, ixigo Founders Aloke Bajpai and Rajnish Kumar will be joining the board of Confirmtkt. Both the platforms will continue to run independently, ixigo said in a statement.
