Travelling to Mars could help avoid deadly pandemics: Elon Musk

Billionaire Elon Musk said building colonies on Mars could help mitigate risks originating from Earth, including deadly pandemics. He added that aliens or remains of long-dead civilisations that survived for millions of years could potentially be found there. Musk also said computer viruses or AI attacks could also be contained due to Mars being 4-20 light-minutes away from Earth.
