Trees being chopped in Hyderabad despite HC order: NGO

A Hyderabad-based NGO has issued a legal notice to the state government stating that trees have been felled to widen a road on Hyderabad's outskirts despite a Telangana High Court stay. Uday Krishna Peddireddi, founding trustee of Vata Foundation alleged that stumps are being uprooted to erase any trace of their existence.
