T-rex had human fingertips-like sensitive face skin: Study
Tyrannosaurus rex, a 20-feet-tall dinosaur species with dagger-like teeth, had sensitive face skin just like human fingertips, scientists say. Experts believe that males and females rubbed their sensitive faces together as a vital part of foreplay. Preserved T-rex fossils showed that the dinosaurs had a face mask of crocodile-like scales with numerous small nerve openings around the jaw and nose.
