Trial run begins on Bengaluru metro pink line to ease traffic

Trial runs have begun on the 7.5 km elevated stretch of Bengaluru's Pink Line Metro between Kalena Agrahara and Tavarekere. The first phase includes nine stations, improving connectivity in southern Bengaluru. The remaining 13.76 km underground stretch is progressing rapidly. Once fully operational, the Metro aims to reduce traffic congestion and provide faster, smoother travel across the city.
