Trials of world's first lung cancer vaccine begin in 7 countries

Human trials for the world's first mRNA lung cancer vaccine, that instructs the body to hunt down and kill cancer cells, have been launched in UK, US, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Spain and Turkey. The vaccine, called BNT116, is made by BioNTech and is designed to treat non-small cell lung cancer. The vaccine aims to strengthen patients' immune response to cancer.
