Trials on Chennai Metro expanded to Porur Junction Station

The trial runs on Corridor 4 of Phase 2 were conducted by Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) on the 9.1 km stretch connecting Mullai Thottam Metro Station and Porur Junction Metro Station, covering 7 stations. Initially, the trials were conducted on a 3 km stretch of Corridor 4 of Chennai Metro Phase 4 in March 2025.
