Tribal rights body seeks action over derogatory words in 'Peddi'

The Adivasi Joint Action Committee for Tribal Rights has demanded the removal of derogatory words from Ram Charan-starrer 'Peddi', claiming that it disrespects tribal groups. The committee has reportedly approached authorities, seeking to register a case against the makers under SC/ST Act. It has called for action against director Buchi Babu Sana, production house Mythri Movie Makers, and CBFC.
