Tribal Woman Preserves 30 Types of Rare Indian Millets
Raimati Ghiuria, a tribal farmer from Odisha's Koraput district, has conserved 30 millet varieties and trained numerous women. At the G20 Summit in New Delhi, she highlighted her efforts in revitalising traditional rice and millet types. She expressed her joy in speaking to a global audience about millet conservation, proudly sharing that she was dubbed the 'Queen of Millet'.
