Tricolour hoisted for 1st time in Naxal-hit Chhattisgarh village

The Tricolour was hoisted for the first time in Chhattisgarh's Naxal-hit Boter village on the 80th Independence Day. The village, which was once part of the Red Corridor, did not celebrate national festivals due to fear and restrictions imposed by Naxalites, villagers said. The celebrations saw children holding the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans along with ITBP personnel.
