Tripura bans private practice for AGMC, GBP doctors

The Tripura government has barred doctors and faculty at AGMC and GBP Hospital from private practice to improve accountability and public healthcare services. A 20% salary hike will be provided as a non-practising allowance. The Congress has opposed the move, warning it could affect healthcare delivery and medical education.
