Tripura government orders 50% of its employees to work from home

The Tripura government on Wednesday ordered 50% of its Group C and D employees to work from home effective immediately. Departments have been instructed to draft weekly rosters, allowing staff to attend the office on alternate weeks. This comes after PM Narendra Modi recently advised citizens to conserve fuel and prioritise work from home and online conferencing.
