Tripura student Anjel Chakma wanted father to retire after getting 1st job

Tripura student Anjel Chakma, who was killed in Dehradun after objecting to racial slurs, had secured his first job through campus placement about a month ago. He wanted his father, a BSF personnel, to take voluntary retirement after years of service. “You’ve done enough for us,” Anjel reportedly told him. Anjel's uncle said he always wanted to support the family.
