X owner Elon Musk has reacted after Telegram CEO, Pavel Durov, said that people who believe WhatsApp is secure in 2026 are "braindead". Musk agreed with Durov's remark and said it is "true". Earlier in the day, Musk himself claimed "WhatsApp is not secure" after a lawsuit alleged that Meta can read people's WhatsApp chats despite promising end-to-end encryption.
