Twitter Co-founder Evan Williams has said that US President Donald Trump is a symptom of a media environment based on short attention spans. Evan, who had apologised earlier for Twitter's role in Trump's election, said that Trump's victory highlighted a wider issue about how social media platforms were helping to "dumb the entire world down".
