Trump administration feared Israel would kill Iranian negotiators: Report

US President Donald Trump’s administration reportedly feared Israel planned to assassinate key Iranian negotiators - Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi - to derail US-Iran talks. The leaders travelled to Islamabad only after securing US guarantees through Qatar and Pakistan. Despite this, Israel reportedly made at least one failed attempt to kill the two leaders.
