Trump announces new class of warships to be known as 'Trump-class'

US President Donald Trump has announced a new class of heavily armed warships that will be named after himself. Trump described the "Trump-class" ships as "some of the most lethal surface warfare ships" and "the largest battleship in the history of our country". The ships will be armed with nuclear-armed sea-launched cruise missiles and guns and weaponry still in development.
