Trump asked China's Xi Jinping if he wanted to buy US weapons: Report

US Ambassador to China David Perdue revealed that US President Donald Trump directly asked Chinese President Xi Jinping whether China wanted to buy US weapons as they were discussing about US' planned arms sale to Taiwan. Xi’s response was not revealed. Meanwhile, during his three-day visit to US, Xi reportedly pressed Trump to oppose Taiwan's independence.
